*UPDATE*

Added many more plants and started CO2 dosing
Added another T8
Stuck a Fluval U2 in there to cycle, but hell, i might just leave it in there now

PFFF, go for it! The opening in the top is the perfect place to put some plants, thats why I bought it in the first place!

I work at petsmart thats how I noticed it. Is the hole all the way through?

Yes, the entire thing is hollow and even has a large hole on the bottom of it for fish to pass through
