This is my first salt tank I started with a little pond of gold fish now I have a 3000 litre koi pond and a new 600 litre salt tank will post some more pictures tomorrow only joined site 5 mins ago might need some help in the coming months and years oh and I'm not sure but as you can see in photos I have split my tank in two as I wanted corals and the fish which eat them in the same tank is this a good idea ? I used egg crate to split tank to get the best flow though out the tank any advice would be good

I have know clue on the splitting thing, but the tank looks fantastic! What fish do you have? I'm guessing some clownfish because of your username;)

Gonna get real dirty on the sides with rock on it. I'd recommend enuf space to get a scraper down to the sand. Looks like the rocks are really dense. Could use more open areas IMO. Got enuf water movement in each side? Corals can use more.

How didja cycle? Kinda soon to have coral already.

Thanks will move a few rocks maybe put some more in sump the tank was second hand and all the rock came with it I tried to use as much water as I could take with me from the long drive to get the tank but look forward to lots of advice thanks again
