This tank is now 8 half months old. I have added a gfo to the side sump. I went from API tests to Red Sea only tests/ colours program. I find the Red Sea a much better test kit, the phosphate test is much more accurate. I finally tuned my HD prime the way I want it. I have added auto top off and wave control all by Hydor. More to come on my two freshwater planted tanks.

Looks pretty solid. Tell us more about the system. What did the final setting on your ai primes turn out to be?

I am running gfo bags, tap water, fluval protein skimmer(might change it). I have two Hydor power heads connected to the controller.

This the evo 13.5 gallon with a 1.5 gallon side sump. I'm planning on upgrading soon for the cardinals
