new 45 gal planted hex

Title said it lol.... Working on cycling and settling of some sand.... Hints the fogginess sry about that but here it is......

As of right now it has some natural driftwood, anubias barteri var. dwarf Nana, & ludwigia palustris.

I will be adding some small stones and possibly other plants tomorrow because PETCO sold me false aqua plants and I'm NOT happy about it. ;)

This is my 45 gal hex I just set up as of last night. it is decorated with all fake plants... 3 plants being actual aquatic plants..... The rest I bought at a craft store. It has natural pebbles I got for a great price(total of about $4) :) and play sand :) $3. :):):). the piece of drift wood is real... After We are done cycling We are stocking with angles/one discus and a crab. We will be moving our bristlenose pleco from our 90 gal to this tank because our red devil is eating his tenticles. Hope u like it.. I know I do... Lol.

Since the tank is tall a pair of angels would probably be ok but I would say no on the Discus; they do best in groups of at least 5 or else you'll risk just stressing it out and you couldn't fit 5 Discus in there. ALso not sure on the BN pleco and angelfish/discus temp; the angels and discus like it warmer (low - mid 80s) and Plecos like it a bit cooler but it may or may not work, maybe others can chime in with experience with angels and plecos together. I'd rethink the Discus though.

Thank you! :) I'll look into that.....the pleco and discus. I have plenty of time to decide what I want in here....

For some reason my posts were merged..... The first post is with live plants and the second post is all fake.... And what it looks like currently.
