my filter just threw a bunch of stuff into my fish tank after i cleaned the motor!!!!

I'm guessing you unclogged whatever was stuck. It was probably already leaching nitrates and whatnot into the tank so as long as it gets filtered out again, all should be fine.

was it brown flaky stuff? that's just mulm that builds up. My canisters build some up in the lines and spit it out when they get restarted

yup it's brown blek i cant even test my water now. i cleaned the motor bc it wasnt sucking up alot of stuff

Its not a big deal. It'll filter out in an hour or so. It looks nasty at first, but you'll get used to seeing it come out when you do a good cleaning of your filter.
