Depends on the fish. I have heard of some going on a hunger strike. Or being picky. Mine will eat any thing. Krill, beefheart, super worms, crickets, pellets, flake food. My wife comments on all of the splashing she hears in the tank all the time. She's worried about a big mess one day...
