My fish has no tail?

I have a 30 gallon tank and 7 fish, but when I went to go watch an hour of T.V. I came back to one of my fish having no tail.

I've had all of these fish for a couple of months, and there has been no bullying between any of them.

They are fan tailed goldfish, and the water's pH, Alkaline, a Hardness levels are stable. Their temperature is at 82 degrees Farenheit.

Please help!!

It is fin rot or fin nipping. Do a water change and separate the afflicted fish. This can kill your fish easily so act quickly.
