Lately I've had a bad run of fish dying. I've had the water checked And all the levels are fine. The only thing that was abnormal was the salt was a little high. What should I do before I start adding more fish? I want to make sure they don't die because of something wrong with the tank.

Hi, welcome to AA!

To help diagnose the problem, there are a few things we need to know:

What size tank is it?
What kind of fish did you get and how long did they live?
Are there any fish that are doing ok?
Did you cycle the tank before adding fish?
Do you have LR in the tank and is it cured?

I would also recommend getting a test kit so that you can properly monitor the levels in your tank.

Water params would also be useful.

NH4?
NO2?
NO3?
PO4?
SG?
Temperature?
pH?

What kind of flow do you have in the tank?

How high is a "little high"?? Believe it or not, it sounds goofy because they live in water, but fish can dehydrate due to high salinity..... same reason we can't drink salt water. Google osmosis or osmotic pressure.
