I have a Comet goldfish and he had a small hole on the bottom of his tail and it looks like it's gunna tear,If it duz it looks like alot of his tail will be missing.I have a 10 gal tank I'm gunna stick him in so it'll hopefully heal,But how should I medicate it?

Test the water. Keep the water and tank super clean. Fin rot is usually a symptom of poor water quality. And if you don't already know Comets need LARGE tanks or ponds.

Your fish should be in at least a 20g by itself. With a 40 to 50 g filter.

Comets need major water changes weekly to stay clean and healthy unless they are in a pond or large tank ( 60+gal).

Comets can live to 25years old. Most die from tiny tanks and dirty water. They have to grow to live. They can grow over a foot long.

Medication ? You could try Melafix and salt. (salt 1 Tablespoon/5 gallons)

U can just keep up with water changes. Torn and nipped fins heal fast in good water conditions. If it a fungus that
Could be a different story. Lots of clean water will help
