Are you talking about the dark spot? Or is that a shadow? Female neons will swell up with eggs. That kinda looks like what is happening. If you can back light it you should be able to see the eggs through her stomach skin. The swelling should go down in a few days after she releases the eggs. If she is eating fine and color is good than I wouldn't worry right away. She could be constipated too. You can feed them a pea that you have removed the hull from. Do not feed anything else for a couple of days. If she is acting fine she should be okay. Mine swell up like that every two weeks or so and then their stomach goes down. Only the females do that. You can tell female from male by looking at the blue stripe. The strip curves up somewhat on the females. Males are also smaller and tend to fight among themselves.
