My pleco changed colors??

When I first got him (1 month ago) he was very dark, with darker spots. Now he is almost a brown with black spots, not sure what kind of pleco he is, but is this normal??

i had the similar situation before and i thought he was sick. but it just turns out that he was just stress for the first month everytime i do water change..he got used to it after and his color came back to normal

Oh ok good. I thought be was sick too!! Scared me.

i know...they loved to make us scared....LOL
