My pond snails....

I have a pond snail tank for my other friends... My snails shells are turning white and they are dying! Any help please!!!!

Following because I am curious about the responses. My guess would be a calcium deficiency. If so, adding some cuttlebone should help.

Cuttlebone...you can find it in the bird section of petco and petsmart

The cuttlebone calcium will leak out in the water so that helps your calcium levels. Crushed coral substrate works but I don't think changing your substrate is favorable
