Mysterious crab!?

There is a mysterious crab from my river rock in my SW tank. Anyone know what kinda crab he is?

Likely a dumb question. But to me, river rock means fresh water? Have you tried typing in google search, "fresh water crab id," or something similar and go through the photos? Are we talking brackish water? Also knowing what part of the world the rock came from could also help. I find the photos aren't providing enough detail. Better photos maybe needed for an id.

It's a saltwater crab. It's from a brackish river but came in the bag with salinity of 1.027 and I was like holy cow. And he is aclimated and burrowed into the sand.

Might be a type of shore crab if it's burrowing in the sand. If so, would likely mean it needs access to air. More photos please.

Do they burrow? Mine burrows in day and runs arond at night

Yea during the day my guys at the store either burrow in the sand or hide in the rocks come night them their like a kid in a toy store

Not a sally lightfoot, they have a completely different body structure.

From a river near my house. It's brackish but the salinity in the bucket of water from the river I tested was 1.027
