Mystery fish w/pics

Hey got a fish here with a little bit of a story. I found it in a guppy tank at my job one day. There was two, but one was eaten and the fish left has grown to quite the beauty.

This picture was when it was fairly young but it had grown significantly before I snapped a picture of him.



These next photos were taken all in about a two month period, roughly six months ago.

I have no idea what kind of fish this is, and I'd really appreciate some help. Thanks

Wow what a beautiful fish. Looks like a kind of cichlid. Sorry I can't be of any further help. What do you feed it?

Ooooh very pretty!!!!

I don't know what it is exactly, but it looks like a Cichlid of some description. Someone will know.

Thank you thank you. I'm very proud of him haha, he's come a long way since I picked him out of that tank being no bigger than 3/4 of an inch.
