Ok I've got some naja grass that I got awhile back from a friend it all turned brown I'm assuming it was dying, well I got a new tank and a stronger light. They are green again and doing pretty good but now the tips are turning VERY light tan almost white...are they dying again or what is happening? I don't use any ferts or CO2

The addition of liquid ferts&a carbon source maybe needed..
What's your lighting &how long do you leave them running?

It's just a shop light with 2 T8 5000k cool tone bulbs and for about 10-12 hrs a day

My advice is to reduce your photoperiod to 6-8hrs daily...concerning the color change of the tips,a good answer is they're closer to the light..
Kinda like a natural sun tan...

I can try to reduce it. And see if that works
