Need advice for my aquarium.

I see people with those axolotl things in there aquarium and there really neat but they would eat my fish if I got one. Does anyone have a suggestion for a neat creature I could put in my fish tank. My tank is a 29 gallon.

From what I can see, they can be in a 15-20g tank as long as the water is higher than the length of the axolotl. They are really neat creatures.

Of note, temperature requirements from both sources state upper 50s to low 60s as being optimum with anything over 75 F being detrimental. Gravel is not good for them (ingest it leading to impaction and death).

Is it going to only have whatever you get or does it already have fish in it? Because if you wanted something similar there are African clawed frogs and red belly newts but they are usually kept by themselves or with others of their own species. They'll both eat other fish, the frogs even more so.
