Need advice: Starting heavily planted 55g

The solution will last quite a long time and you also have to use the regent in your ph test kit to make it blue.

Once I got a defective regulator and they had to exchange it but other than that no problems. If you research enough you will always find someone that has had a problem with any brand of equipment.
 
Would it be the low end ph or high end ph test kit reagent and how much do I need to add? That is very true, nothing is flawless. And how will I know when I need to replace the solution?
 
You use the regular ph regent not the high range one. Over time if the color fades to a light blue then you should make new solution.
