I currently have a 10 gallon tank. I found a 30 gallon tank online for $30! It's so tempting! I just had a quick question. Could the aquaclear 20 power filter work for the 30 gallon tank??

It could work temporarily but you'd definitely want to upgrade if you have a decent sized stock. An AC50 or AC70 would be a better option and they're not terribly expensive on Amazon (although relative to your tank they are ).

Keep the 10 as a quarantine/hospital tank and get the 30 for your display tank! I'd run the filter you have now on the new tank to help cycle it quicker, but also add another (canister?) filter alongside it. Then of get a sponge filter for the 10 so it can be used as a fry tank if needed
