My first tank and with plants. It's a 90g w/ 48" marine capable LED, 1 glo single bulb fixture (54w lifeglo). Currently dosing liquid carbon and ferts. Do not want co2. G6 filtration (love it) and emperor400 hob

I have:
Moneywort
Wisteria
Crypt spiralis
Crypt wendtii
Java fern
Anubias nana &petite
Moss balls
Jungle val
*mid ground plant I can't remember* photo attached

I'd appreciate suggestions for foreground plants to replace some or add around the crypt wendtii. Also would appreciate critiques on overall appearance and plant placement.

Thank you

Thanks. I was thinking dwarf hairgrass or micro sword. Not sure if my light is strong enough to penetrate that depth.

DHG is an option, I just like the look of BT :).

Yep, both need good lighting to grow properly and co2 (recommended) and like you, I'm doing my best to avoid co2 so I can't have either plant :(. Others will be alone and have greater insight soon enough.

I think about any of the plants mentioned will work. HM doesn't really require a lot of light IME, but it does carpet better in a higher light setting. I grew it in a 10g with a 15w T8 bulb and it grew fast. DHG might need a little more light, but it's something you could definitely try. Pygmy chain sword or microsword would work.

I also thing some blyxa japonica would look great in the middle.
