Need help with slate

I have some slate that I would like to put in my O tank, how would I clean the slate? I would like to stack them up like some people have done with their tanks.

rinse them with hot water. if you are planning on doing caves, get a tube of silicone to glue the pieces together otherwise it can collapse and injure your fish

Be careful as sharp edges can cut a large bodied fish, like an ocellatus. Also, when he gets larger, he will more than likely redecorate for you, so I agree with the comment about silicone, he won't be able to redecorate as much if it's all one piece

Ok ill stop by Lowes and pick up some more slate and clear silicone
