Hey everyone. Need id on these. I know they are peacocks, but not sure which kind. Please no long stories about hybrids and why they suck. I'm usually a pure line of peacocks but I liked them a lot and they are in my "mutt" tank. I was told the red ones were super red eurekas. Although I doubt it. The yellow albino was supposed to be an albino lemon jake, which I have never seen before. Thanks.

Thanks. Never seen like this either. And they are still on the small side only about 1.5-2" the father and mother of the red ones are bright red with the blue iridescence (which I'm think is an albino strain of OB).

Possible that the first one is an albino lemon Jake I have seen one b4 but not positive as for the other 2 I don't know but I can see why you decided to get them even if they are hybrids they are beautiful

They all appear to have red eyes which is the trait in albino fish.It may be the camera but if their eyes are all red it would suggest they are all Albinos.

They all seem to be the same type of fish whatever they may be. They just are different color morphs.

Could the middle one be a dragon blood ?
here is a pic of my male if you want to compare

Don't think it's dragon bloods. I have dragons and they aren't as bright. Here's a picture of my male. I have 6 females too. And I have albino fire fish too (same as dragon bloods) and they are no near as bright red.

Thanks cichlid dude. If I were tell you all how much I paid you'd think I was a liar. LOL

My dragon blood male was $4 from Craigslist. The 6 females I got from a breeder in California for $20. Got 6 albino fire fish from the same breeder for $15. The "albino yellow jake" I got at a LFS for $6. And the trio of the super red ones where $15 at another LFS.

Your peacocks are really partial albinos. True albinos lack color so they would be white with red eyes.
