Need some fish ideas

I have a 40 gallon breeder with a pair of 2 rare kribs that need some jitter fish I think they are called to move around and get them to feel safe because they are just sitting around not moving and they look scared and stressed. The water is perfect in testing and temp. They have caves, drift wood, and fine sand to sift through so Its the only thing I can think of that would be wrong with them.

What I need is something that wont be able to eat the babies as well as a fish that moves around alot and isnt shy. There is plenty of room beings they are the only 2 fish in the tank.

You know a fish like a loach but doesn't get so big.

Some kind of active cory! I've heard the albino ones are very active. Not sure if they'll eat the fry though.
