Fwiw, my water changes are so often that carbon has no room in my filter. I use the sponges on the vertical and the rest is all bio media.

So it's been 2 days since my last water change, tested again today and virtually no change. The pH looks to be slightly higher - about 7.8, however the ammonia (0.25ppm), Nitrite (0.00ppm) and Nitrate (about 2.5ppm) are all unchanged.
Is it normal to have that low of ammonia after having fish in the tank for 11 days with only one 12% water change?
