New acropora green slimer is brown

So recently i had gotten an order from reef2reef and got a small green slimer frag and for the past few days its has been more brown than green. Personally i think its acclimating because i just placed it at the highest point in the rocks but if you how a different opinion please lmk havent seen any bleaching on it and slight polyp extension

Browning out is usually more of a sign of excess nutrients in the system

I'd give it time. What lights do you have it under? And was it brown when it came in? When I upgraded to my 40b my slimer browned a bit but it bounced back pretty fast and is extremely green. I have it at the top of my tank in high flow.
