What is a balloon belly ram? Selectively bred or a hybrid?

So what is the ram crossed with? Are they still able to breed, or are they sterile?

Not sure what they are crossed with. But I remember them telling us that they are a hybrid. I will have to do some research.

After some research, they are a mutation. Not a hybrid.
There is not much on these guys.

Balloon rams are injected with hormones so they are fatter basically... There just GBRs mutated into a balloon!

Glass fish are a natural species of fish and have a normal lifespan. It's only when they are subjected to the cruel practice of injected dyes for the aesthetic pleasure of buyers that their health and lifespan are compromised.

Breeders inject german blue rams with a hormone that creates there bodys to puff up. So there mutated in to a balloon ram.
