New Assassin snails in my tank

Well about 2 months ago I got an assassin snail and today I was vacuuming and there was probably a dozen small baby assassin snails everywhere. I've been reading that they need female and male, but I only got one.

Also anything on how to care for them?

Wouldn't the larger snail simply eat the smaller ones?

Hence the name?

So I remove them? There's plenty of pond and ramshorn snails that I think he would prefer.

I'm really not sure, I have no experience with snails really.

Hopefully our knowledgable friends here can be more helpful lol

Assassins will go for the pond and ramshorns, otherwise they would be kept in shops together for fear of killing each other if they ate there own.
Is it possible it was pregnant wen u bought it? I know snails lay eggs, but i remember reading some breeds can retain spern for months
