I'm looking for a new background plant for my 10 gallon any suggestions? I currently have Hygrophilia corymbosa "agustifolia" in the back, but the leaves get so long and the stems break the surface of the water every week. Even when I cut the stems in halves the stem seems to grow back rather quickly. I trimmed a ton of the leaves and found out how much light the leaves have blocked from my dwarf sag, dwarf hairgrass and glosso. So now I'm just looking for a plant that won't shade the plants in the middle/ front. I have the 40 watt satellite fixture. TIA

Ludwiga repens, perhaps some form of Rotala.. Tropica.com has some great pictures (artist drawn) of plants, along with sizes that they get.
