Hi, so I just ordered a large cleaning crew of hermits, snails and shrimps for my 75G. After dealing with an ich outbreak a few months back I'm very leery of adding anything new to the tank. I'm aware of the acclimation procedure for inverts, but should I QT them for 6 weeks as one would a fish? I know it's possible for ich to be carried on the shells of inverts.

I've placed my order from saltwaterfish.com (free shipping!) and I've never ordered from them before.

Thanks much!

No need to QT, just do not let any of the shipping water into your tank.

HI Lando,

I'm probably making a bigger deal out of this than it should be, but after the drip acclimation process should I net out the inverts and rinse them in some water from the main tank in another bucket, or just drop them straight into the aquarium? Thanks much!
