I just got some new hatchet fish. How do I keep them happy? Ive had fish that die almost immediately from stress. Any advice would be great!

One thing I know is Hatchets like to be in groups.

Acclimate them properly to reduce stress. And keep the light off for a few days

They should really be in groups of 6 or more. Some floating plants and subdued aquarium lighting will help make them feel more at home. Also try to make sure that they won't be challenged for the top of the water column by something like a gourami.
