Names Johnie, i have snakes, lizards, & scorpions. Ive had fish tanks in the past, but never really understood the whole biological setup of it all. I was given a 75 gallon tank, and looking forward to doing it all the right way. Aiming for African Cichlids.

I know what cichlids i want.. I know in the past i had ammonia spikes, and nitrite spikes, sometimes it killed off all of my fish.. then i sorta got tired of dealing with it, and quit that hobby, and went to reptiles, i kinda enjoyed them better and it seemed like less work.. But was given a 75 gallon, and ive been doing alot of research on how to make sure my tank is cycled before adding all the additional fish.
