New pearl co2 drop checker question

So my drop checker has arrived. It says to wait several hours to bring to equilibrium.

My question is: Do I do anything to the drop checker during weekly wc?

Nope just change the liquid ever 2-4 weeks.

I'll wipe it down to keep algae accumulation off of it, but otherwise no, not really.
