Thanks Delapool. That driftwood has been a minor annoyance for over a year now. Still tinting the water slightly brown before the next PWC.

Cripes, what sort is it? Apart from fungus on pieces I found I've been lucky here.

It's some kind of bogwood from Florida I found on eBay. Took a month in the hot tub, just to get it to sink! I have a big piece of Mopani wood in the goldfish tank I just re-started again last week doing the same thing now as well. At least that stuff sinks right away...
