i recently bought java moss tied to a rock in hopes it will grow, but my rainbow shark keeps nipping it. how should i proceed? should i buy java moss already started on something. it's more expensive but hey what ya going to do. Any advice would be appreciated!!

Is the shark actually trying to eat it or just playing with it? As long as the shark isn't damaging it, the moss should still attach. It may just take a little bit longer.

make sure its well tied down. also might want to move it to a place where he cant get to it.

hi aqua man, i had a very similar problem, with some Gara Flavatara loach.I found by using a hair net over the moss helped hold it together. Took a while Because the moss weren't positioned in a good flow but now its 2 months later and its thick bushy and homing plenty of crystal shrimp . hope this helps
