I added 5 red eye tetras to my tank last Saturday, so its been about 7 days. They are supposed to be good fish for a community tank, but they are always hiding behind my plants and rocks. I don't even see them until I feed them.
The other fish are compatible, and there doesn't seem to be any harrassment going on. In fact, all of my other fish use the entire tank, even swimming through the area where the red eyes are always hiding.
Oh well, I hope they relax and come out.
FYI...ammonia, nitrites, nitrates are 0. pH 6.8-7.0 Temp is 76°F.
