New Tank Got Cleaner on It!

I have a new empty tank. I just got Mr. Clean on the outside, and it won't wash off very well. It's still oily. Can the fumes or liquid diffuse through the glass and harm any fish I put in it?

It can't go thru the glass. Try cleaning the outside with vinegar.

If it seems oily still you can use a light and gently rub with moist baking soda and wipe of and then the vinegar. The two things are fun to clean with and do a great job of cleaning. Wipe with water moistened cloth. Dry with (paper or cloth) towel.
