New tank question

Hello everyone, I recently setup a 75 gallon tank that I purchased from Craigslist. It came with a purple dottyback, a brittle star, and basically everything I needed to get started exept a skimmer. Is it OK if I don't have a skimmer running on this tank for a few weeks since it has such a small bioload? It has a sump/refugium and about 60 lbs of live rock in there too.

Frequent PWC`s will suffice for a few weeks or months.

I agree with the PWC's until you can get a skimmer up and running

I don't even use a skimmer, personal preference, one less thing to clean.

And there`s nothing wrong with that but I know Scott and I know he does frequent PWC`s. That needs to be done if you dont have a skimmer.

Thanks Mike! I also should add that I do run a filter, but there are plenty of folks that run one or the other or both.
