at last, a newtank for my birthday next week .its a 30 gallon tank, the tank that i have running already is a 13 gallons.i intend to eventually move over all of my fish from this tank ,a few at a time as the tank matures and then to set up the smaller tank as a species tank .i have gourami,2 mollies,3 beacon tetras, 4 neons,2 leopard danios 3 corys and aflying fox in the original tank ,when the tank has settled any suggestions as to which fish should try out their new home first,to mature it ? and how quickly can i add my other fish? any advice would be appreciated

I always recommend Zebra Danios to establish a new tank, but I would recommend transfering some of the gravel from your old tank to the new one. The established bacteria can significantly reduce the cycle time. As far as when, it all depends, each tank is different.
