This morning I noticed my female Endler acting abnormal. Trying to hide when it was feeding time. She was big, but looks like that all the time IMO. So I figured I would move her out the main tank to my peaceful shrimp tank just in case she drops. So I fished her out and was drip acclimating her to the shrimp tank and noticed one fry, then two...three..etc.
I was pretty excited, then a pair popped out that were sharing a yoke sack and she ate them. So I jumped into action and started scooping out the fry into the shrimp tank.
Ended up with 10 fry and 2 pairs of twins eating by the mom.
Moved mom back to the main tank and have all the fry with some RCS.
Ive been feeding them really fine (almost powder like) flake food.
Is there anything special other than feeding them that I need to do to ensure their survival?
