Hey guys!
So, I'm totally new to the planting of aquariums. I've -always- done fake plants; no need for special feedings/treatments/worrying about fish eating them/snails/decay/water parameters, etc.
But I want to set up a 2.5 gallon in my room for a betta. And I was contemplating trying my hand at planting, because I really, really dislike plastic plants with a betta. Their fins always seem to get ragged on them.
So, my main question is: Is a 2.5 gal a good or a bad idea for trying a planted tank, or is this better off in a much bigger tank?
TIA.
