Hey I just got a few aponogeton bulbs and I'd like to put them in my tank it has gravel from the store in it will that work for the plants this is my first time planting and I'd love some help thank you :)

That will be fine. I heard those bulbs do not enjoy being planted. You should let them float. The ones that are living should find a place and root up. Then you should move them. Otherwise they'll fungus up.

Thanks so much I've done plastic plants but I don't like them I want the natural live plants to better simulate a pond or river

Once the bulbs sprout, they will grow faster if you do bury them.

They also do great in very low light.

Good cause their is no light except my room light lol and they are in a 3 and 1.5 gallon I know that they'll get too big but I'm gonna prune them

Well there are some LEDs on the 1.5 but none on the 3 gallon but I leave my room lights on all day long so hopefully there's enough ambient light for them to manage
