Lots of algea and like a copper color algea on my powerhead anybody know what this is? Is it gunna lead to bad things? If so how can I fix it

Copper colored algae might be diatoms. Feed less and reduce light schedule.

Uv sterilizers need to be large and have a majority of the water column through it to be effective...this makes the ones on the market for our aquariums ineffective at best.

No uv sterilizer and yea ro/di water all the time and no skimmer yet that's what I'm saving for right now. Just water changes every week and a half
