I recently started up a new 10 gallon tank. I have a heater and a simple filter in my tank. I used sand instead of gravel. This is also the first time i've used live plants. My friends gave me some plants which i believe to be random moss and moneywort. I was wondering what else would be some nice plants to add. i hope to one day move my dalmation mollies into this tank.

Welcome to AA!

I have some Java Fern that does great in my tank. You have to attach it to driftwood or a rock though because it cannot live in sand. Same thing does with Anubias but I love them! Mollies tend to need bigger tanks then 10 gallons but there are still plenty of other options you can look into. Good luck with your tank! :)

What type light and bulbs are you using? Lighting will determine what type plants you can grow.

Mollies have way too heavy a bio-load and get too large for a 10g.
