I have a newer 4 month tank..has been cycled. has a sponge and HOB filter. have been changing the water weekly...have quite a few fish in a 29 gallon tank. 2 plecos/3 tetras/5 small neon tetras/3 gouramies/3 platys/3 cat corys and 3 danios/3 zebra tetras
moved them up to the cycled tank already about 3 weeks ago with no ammonia stress ..fish seem very active and happy. PH 6.8/nitrite 0/nitrate 5.0/ammonia has been dropping and down at 0.25
I changed the water about a week and half ago on a Saturday. check water parameters daily. my wonder is ...I feed them every other day..and the nitrates have not moved much...or even at all. Should I worry? should I continue with weekly water changes of 10-15%
