My 40 gal has been cycled for nearly 4 months now. I have 6 rosy barbs (1.5"), 5 zebra danios (1.5"), and two neon tetras (1"). (Used to have more fish but they got eaten.)
Anyway, I have some java moss growing in there and that's all. The only light I have on it is from a 10 gal hood but the room is brightly lit and it ocassionally gets a full day of natural sunlight.
I've never had any algae grow in there at all and I was just wondering if that's a sign that something's wrong.
TIA and I appreciate the help!

You are currently achieving what others strive very hard for...
A algae free tank :D !

The only light I have on it is from a 10 gal hood

10 gal? How many watts are the bulbs in that hood, single or double bulb, incandescent or fluorescent bulbs?

Nothing wrong at all, unless you want some algae, some folks actually do try to encourage some types of algae as supplemental food for herbivore fish.

Nothing is wrong at all. Im really shocked you do not have any.

Did you ever consider putting more fish in your tank? Thats on the very low end of stock from what I can tell.
