normal moss and aquatic moss

hi there....i wonder if i can use the normal moss that we have in our plants or gardens or any forest .....and use it in our aquarium....does it live there ????....and is it safe ???

it most likely will not survive fully submersed in the water but if you find some that is already growing in a stream or river, that might be usable. of course using it might also bring other things not wanted into your aquarium (parasites,disease,insects)
