Normal shrimp activity?

My shrimp are moving and seem healthy, but in a pile under the heater. (temps 73) water (amm0nitra0tritrs-5)

Is this just them mating or being wierd or what? Thanks guys

Good question. Have u tried a cave for them to sleep under? mine love to sleep upside down underneath a big rock.

73 is might be a little to cold for them. I have mine at 78 degrees, maybe they are cold lol

They have dispersed, maybe a mating thing? I Think it was more that it was darker there and they were maybe sleepy. I'll bump the temps up a bit just to be safe, I figured right in the middle of the ok zone was atleast a good start

How quickly can I bump the temps up? Is there a too fast. Its a good heater, bigger than needed cause its cold, so I can get tue temps up, longer is why I think it heats quicker..

What kind of shrimp do you have?

Fire red cherry shrimp. 1day old. Water is still reading fine

My guess is the temp but I could be wrong, cherry shrimps like to be in groups maybe someone will chime in

Temps up a bit, still grouping but other places. Think im just over thinking my new shrimpies
