I moved my tropical and cold water fish last night into their new bigger tanks last night. All seemed fine, came down this morning and couldn't find my hillsteam loach any where, then I noticed the very small gap in the back of the tank lid where the wires from the filter etc hang out and thought 'crap, I know what that means'. Of course I then found him dried up and dead on the floor behind my tank 
he escaped once before when I accidently left the lid a tiny tiny bit open on his old tank but I completely forgot to block the hole this time I loved my litte loach, actually really sad. Just made sure I blocked the hole on my big tank with sponge though, don't fancy my 4 inch pleco jumping out
