Is this some kind of muscle? It's open most of the time but closes when spooked or touched. The outside is hard. (sorry for the bad pic).

Is this a sponge? (yellow thing in the middle)

The second one looks like a sponge. you have to get a zoomed in pic of the first one, I can't see anything.
