Hey guys, I just had a question about some weird happenings with my apistos.
I had 2 apistogramma agassizi. Both males (bought before sexable) and they got along for a while, but soon one became very dominant and I hardly ever saw the other. The non dominant male began to have a clamped tail fin, but lived for about 3-4 months getting by on whatever he could scrounge up since he wouldn't come out and eat while I fed the other fish. Soon, he became very sick and I had to euthanize him. After that, my other (healthy) apisto that had been carefree began to show the same signs and (body turned brown, clamped tail and side fins, shimmying to swim). Just wondered if he got depressed because he no longer had anyone to pick on or what?
