I have read quite a few threads reading old bulbs cause algae. Is this t8 or t5 or all Bulbs in general?

That's right, that's for all bulbs.they only last 7-8 months and only if your giving it 8 hours per day of light. Now before you replace the old bulbs you'll need to get as much of that alge 1st out.

O I don't have algae issues I just did not know that about the bulbs until recently . My bulbs are a year so I know I got to start replacing them .
